Middling

£50.00

Please note: these pictures are examples, each of these are slightly different, but function the same.

Originally created for my mum as a day-to-day pouch, the squarer, shorter shape make it ideal for those, like her, who favour smaller bags or simply have less space. It is big enough to function limitedly as a pencil case (short pens and sharpened pencils!) and works as a small tool pouch as well.

15cm x 11cm

These sleek pouches were designed to slip into small, flat spaces, not taking up much room and requiring everything else to be moved around to fit. They may have grain or pre-existing markings, which i do not avoid as I find them to add character to an otherwise simple piece, and which I bring out using a light conditioning.

These pieces are entirely hand cut, stitched, glued, and riveted by myself.

They are lightly oiled to condition them, which also brings out the imperfections in the leather. You can oil them further if you want to darken the colour; I use hempseed oil, but any kitchen oil such as olive or sunflower seed oil will also work. Simply rub generously into the leather with a piece of fabric; note that if applied unevenly, it will even out over a few hours. Your leather will darken naturally over time, ageing nicely, especially if out in the sun.
